HI! I'm teacher Julie and this is my Story
Welcome to English with Teacher Julie.
My name is Julie McMann and I have been an English as A Second Language teacher for 25 years! I started out as an ESL teacher so many years ago helping new immigrants to Canada learn English so they could navigate their new lives. Soon after I began a tutoring service for ESL students in elementary and high school, teaching the basics of English as well as helping them out with their school work. Then, a family move to a very remote area or British Columbia started a new English language adventure.
For 17 years I owned and operated Skinner Creek ESL Summer Camp, a month long program for international students combining ESL and outdoor adventures such as horseback riding, hiking and connecting to nature. Unfortunately COVID came and I had to shut down my camp, which was a very sad time indeed.
Now I am offering online home study courses to improve your English to give you the English you need to become successful and full of potential.
Now, I want to help you have the best life possible.
